SOUND ENGINEERING BASIC COURSE

Who is it for?

The course is designed to aspiring sound engineers of all ages, who want to undertake this path as a profession or as a pure personal passion. It is also aimed at musicians, both professionals and non-professionals, who want to learn how to create their own musical/audio productions by putting into practice the same methods used by professionals with many years of experience, whether they work in professional facilities or in their own Home Studio.

The course, while focusing on the production sector in a recording studio, is also recommended for those who want to work as audio technicians for live events, as the program includes the acquisition of basic technical knowledge common to both sectors (cables, signals, microphones, routing, etc.) essential for starting to collaborate with Audio Services.

Course structure

The course includes a basic module of 64 hours divided into 8 meetings of 8 hours each. The classes will have a limited number of students, to allow participants to have necessary time to acquire and put into practice the notions that will be learned. Furthermore, this will also allow the teacher to observe the abilities and peculiarities of the students, dedicating the necessary attention to each of them, following them both in the theoretical and practical aspects.

All this will take place in a work day, set up as a real work session in a top-level professional structure in which you will also acquire the dynamics related to personal interactions between roles, essential for entering a work situation, as much as the notions and technical skills. At the end of the basic module, upon request of the students it will be possible to extend the teaching to further, exploring some of the specific topics covered in the program.
