British singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer GRICE has built his reputation in progressive art rock circles, with his debut album Propeller which featured saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft (Baker Street, Pink Floyd/Final Cut, Marvin Gaye) and was shortlisted in the MPG Awards in the Best Album of the Year category.
GRICE continued to work closely with Raphael as an arranger and producer on other projects for TV and advertising agencies as well as high profile artists (Duffy, Award-winning choir Tenebrae and Gerry Rafferty). His music has also featured on BBC 2 & BBC Worldwide (William and Kate: A Royal Engagement), and MTV, Sky through Black Diamond publishing.
His second album Alexandrine features musical contributions by Richard Barbieri (Japan, Porcupine Tree) and Steve Jansen (Japan, Exit North) as well as Egyptian percussionist Hossam Ramzy (Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin) and B J Cole (T-Rex, Felt). Alexandrine was also co-produced by Richard Barbieri and mixed by Steve Jansen.
In 2019 GRICE recorded his 3rd album ‘One Thousand Birds’ at Forward Studios featuring Richard Barbieri, violinist Steve Bingham (no-man), avant-garde trumpet player Luca Calabrese, Marco Maggiore (drums) and more.
