He graduated in classical guitar with highest honors under the guidance of a great Maestro, Eduardo Caliendo. After that he attended top level Alirio Diaz masterclasses and he studied in deep the Latin American traditional music.
In Andalusia he attended courses held by Paco PeÑa and learned techniques and art of Flamenco traditions.
Along with his guitar, Mauro travelled around the word playing with top level artists on the international scene.
His journey started in the 70s, publishing his first Solo Album. Since then, his musical career has been a costant evolution in terms of productions and live concerts.
He worked both in personal productions and social and cultural projects in collaborations with several artist such as Giuseppe Tornatore, Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, Luis Bacalov, Murray Abraham, London Simphony Orchestra, Paul Sorvino, Giancarlo Giannini, Enrico Lo Verso, IntiIllimani, Luis Sepulveda, Angel Parra, Isabel Parra, Roberto Vecchioni, Mauro Pagani, Arisa, Morgan, Chris Porter, Massimo Ranieri, Roberto Murolo, Eugenio Bennato, Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, Bobby Solo, Marisa Sannia, Shel Shapiro and so on.
After Morricone's oscar winning, Mauro is touring with an incredible projects called "Di Domenico Plays Morricone" and "La Leggenda Morricone" that includes a piece written and dedicated by M° Morricone to Mauro Di Domenico.
